FROM
INVERNESS
Take the A82
Signposted Fort William and Loch Ness Trail , for fourteen miles to Drumnadrochit.
Drive through
the village until you see an ESSO filling station on the right; take the
next turning RIGHT (next to the Lochness Inn). Do not cross the
Bridge.
After 500
metres you will pass a red telephone box on the left,
Ferness Cottage B&B is 400 metres on the right.
FROM FORT
WILLIAM
Take the A82
Signposted Inverness, to Drumnadrochit.
You will pass
Urquhart Castle on you right just before arriving in Drumnadrochit
approximately a mile further on.
As you cross
a small bridge take the next turning LEFT before the ESSO filling station (next to the Lochness Inn).
After 500
metres you will pass a red telephone box on the left,
Ferness Cottage B&B is 400 metres on the right.

The Great
Glen Way passes alongside the river Coiltie, which when not in spate may be
crossed (rock hopped) into the garden of Glen of Ferness Apartments (look
for the green painted house on the river bank)
